FEMININE EXPRESSIONS These are the women asking to be brought forth . . . And I, simply their midwife, Birthing them by creating their FORM, While experiencing Subtly but powerfully Their Spirit, their Soulfulness.
I, as midwife, allow their voices to be heard Bringing each one’s feminine expression To the collective whole, Reminding a world Deafened by war, hatred and suffering That we, as women, Can lead a world in disarray To a place of nurturing and joy, Harmony and reconciliation. Each woman you meet Speaks her own truth . . . . As you look upon her face, Observe the grace of her movement, Experience the sureness of her Presence, Let her VOICE speak to you of the undying feminine SPIRIT That graces the earth with Strength, Leadership, Beauty and Determination.

| In my work, I use a variety of mixed media and techniques for creating women. There are watercolor, acrylic, opaque, transparent, metallic. . . there are collage works using papers of many textures and colors . . .there are tapestries composed of many textiles and threads. Finally, there is a collection of paper mache pieces, some of women, and others simply the works of a woman who creates beauty as the expression of her own feminine soul. | |
